I love KOTC! I'm a big chicken tender head and these are by far some of the best tenders around. They're tender, juicy, and delicious. Everyone I've taken here seems to have the same reaction when they take their first bite. "WOW" If you're looking for ambience, go to the flocal location. There's a nice setup with a bar, pool tables, arcade, artwork, and good vibes.

Not easy to find and see from the road for first time. Part of Flocale with 3 places to eat inside, west shore pizza, king of the coop and a slider/burger restaurant. Inside is big and also has a full bar. We ordered from king of the coop. We got the Fowl Fries and 3 piece jumbo tenders. Fowl fries were tasty with seasoned fries, Mac and cheese and chicken with your heat choice. Tasty and filling. The 3 jumbo tenders were big and filled you up with fries. Homemade pickles were also good. Biddy was tasty with no heat. Nashville hot was ok but i wanted a bit more flavor. Service was good at lunch time on a Saturday. I would come back to try a sandwich or the chicken and waffles.

A little confused at first, but KOTC is a shared space with a pizza joint, you can order from either dine in or bar seating. Pool tables, urban warehouse decor, TVs abound. I was expecting a small take-out only place! What a delight to enjoy an adult beverage while waiting for our to-go. Ordered the chix tenders 1lb, midway and 2 piece Nashville hot. Crispy a delicious on day 1 and 2! Hush puppies with a pimento cheese sauce dip Good mark Has chix sandwiches burgers and wings too- we will be back to check it all out.

4++ I came across this place because I was really close by at my favorite brewery in Tampa, getting some heavy, high ABV stouts. So I was looking for something that would settle of my stomach and just be overall delicious. Enter this place. It was pretty much walking distance in the Seminole Heights area. The place felt like a fast casual place. The folks that I ordered from were super friendly, helpful, and efficient. If I recall correctly, I ordered, and they either brought it to me or I picked it up from the counter. I got 'The Hen' sandwich along with fries, mac & cheese, and greens. Oh and a sweet tea to wash it down. I thought everything was well done. The chicken had a great texture and flavor, especially along with that sauce. All the sides were really well done as well. I am a big fan of this place and definitely would hit it up if I was back in the area.

I was craving fried chicken and King of the scoop came heavily recommended for Nashville style fried chicken. I like fried chicken and I like spicy so I had to check it out. It was hard to tell if we were in the right spot because the restaurant is essentially a two in one. There is the King of the Coop and a pizza spot (I forgot the name). It was definitely confusing at first until we asked the hostess to confirm if we were at the right place. The menu was divided, one side is the King of the Coop and the other side is the pizza spot. We ordered the Half Bone-In Fried Chicken (Nashville Hot) and a large Mac n Cheese. The chicken was juicy, tender and delicious. The crust on the other hand was greasy and not as spicy as I thought it was going to be for Nashville Hot. None the less we still destroyed our meal, down to the bone.
